Debuxo Atelier is an architecture studio specialising in bespoke single-family homes, renovation and the restoration of stone houses in the Spanish Pyrenees. Based in Zaragoza, we design from the place: each house responds to the landscape, the mountain climate and how you want to live.
Debuxo Atelier is a bespoke architecture studio taking on a small number of commissions each year. We work on new single-family homes, full renovation of rural mountain houses and the restoration of stone houses, bordas and barns across the Aragonese Pyrenees, with a particular focus on Jaca, La Jacetania and the province of Huesca. Our studio is based in Zaragoza (Via Pignatelli 1), with a second workspace in Arrés, Bailo, deep in the Pyrenees.
Every project begins with an honest conversation about the place, the brief and the people who will live there. We build with materials from the surroundings —stone, timber— and with the local trades that know them well, caring for insulation and energy efficiency in a cold mountain climate, integration into the landscape and rural planning constraints. We guide each commission from start to finish: from early advice and the search for a plot or house to the design, site supervision and final detail.
